We took the kids up to City Walk in LA and they got to go faux sky diving. It looked very fun and they say it was. It made all of my Willy Wonka fantasies come back to me.

Madeline looked graceful as she was suspended in midair.
Grace went first. The instructor took each child to the top in tandem, up and down, up and down.

We parents kept our feet on the ground this day, but vowed to do it one day soon.
Later that night we went to the Glendale Center Theater and saw the Scarlet Pimpernell, which was a first for us....great production and the kids keep singing the song "Storybook", beautiful.

ReplyDeleteThe title is from the movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory when Charlie and his grandpa drink the Fizzy Lifting drink and take flight in the glass elevator (they have to burp to avoid being sliced up in the turbine).

ReplyDeleteWhat fun! We have one in Ogden and did this for Valentines day. The wind blows really hard up your nose :D It is quite the adventure. We will have to take the kids someday. You two look like teenagers!
