for our Bishop this week. Madeline volunteered to make the birthday cake. It was for her Divine Nature value project. She performed at least 10 hours of work on this confection.
Batter and Frosting flew for a couple of days; it was hard work and messy.
It was as delicious as it was beautiful. She made a Butter cake with layers of Chocolate Butter Cream, Almond Butter Cream, and then covered in Chocolate Ganache. I had two pieces, because it was so good. I also waited to eat mine until I could get home and eat it reverently. Good stuff.
