This is my favorite room right now. It belongs to my friend Lynnette, who probably didn't realize when I saw it for the first time last week, how much I love it. I kept saying it and kept wanting to sit in it, but I don't think she understood how much I LOVE this room.
I think her mohair sofas are amazing and her design of the room really inspires me.
Lynnette does not pick her design pieces up at furniture stores or retail stores. She finds each piece at unique places. Every piece has a story and was plucked from a consignment shop or thrift store or (thanks to great design connections) left-over from a finished job. I love when she shows me a gem she found at a garage or estate sale. The girl has an eye.
I love her collections too.
I'm in awe of her talent and her design awards she wins. I wish I could take her "History of Furniture" class she is teaching this semester. She can rock a design!
