Last night my beautiful friend Juliett brought me a loaf of home-made Pumpkin Bread.  I patiently waited until morning to have it for breakfast. After the kids were off to school and I remembered the loaf waiting for me, I took a slice and smeared some butter on; I took a bite and then another.

Derik joined me a little later for round two.  He found the bread to be of  a singular quality also.  The loaf is now gone, but not the memory of the most moist and flavorful pumpkin bread I've ever had,  Ambrosia.  I'm sure the recipe is a good one, but I know it was the masterful execution of preparation and baking that made my morning so "Pumpkinlicious".

Simple, Sweet pleasures.....even if they're not calorie free....are so worth it!
