Thanksgiving

This year we went to Coronado for Thanksgiving.  No cooking, no stress, just a fun weekend with no schedule.

We had a fun visit with Barry and Terri (my bro-in-law and sis) at Barry's new sailboat at the San Diego Harbor.  We had the urge to say "ARR" a lot.

Ice Skating at the Hotel Del Coronado

We didn't bring the surfboards, because of the impending rain.  We learned our lesson #1 It's always nice surfing conditions #2 rain predictions are usually over blown.

All three children  are now obsessed with the Twilight movie, so we saw it for a third time.  It was Grace's first and she keeps asking to see it again.

Time for Christmas....which I adore.  The theme of the Hotel Del's Christmas tree this year is
" A Victorian Christmas"

  1. How fun! You will need to give me a list of your fave places on the island. I didn't know about the sundae place and that sounds awesome! The kids and I like Island Pasta because it's cheap and good.

  2. What a great time! Thanks again for letting us spend our Thanksgiving in paradidse. Kennedy loved playing with Gidget the whole time, though Gidg definitely missed her very loving, adoring family :).
